Do you ever think about having an incredible adventure interacting with marine mammals in their natural habitat? After arriving to the diving center, professional instructors will provide you with the basic procedures for this once-in-a-lifetime activity. A 7mm wet suit, boots, hood, gloves, snorkel, mask, and fins will be issued.
After a 20 minute boat ride the tour will begin by entering the Punta Loma natural reserve, located just 10 miles from Puerto Madryn. Close to the snorkeling area you will begin to spot the local birds nesting over the cliff and shores of Patagonia.
While sea lions are harmless and like to play when they find themselves among humans, you will be instructed by professionals on how to behave with these marine creatures when you interact with them. This is a protected area and to get as close as possible to the sea lions special attention must be paid to understand their behavior and usual habits.
Once in the water you will be amazed by how friendly and playful sea lions are. No experience is needed, but you do need to be comfortable in the water for this thrilling eco-adventure.
